Age to Start

Lessons can begin as early as 3 years old. If your child can follow simple instructions, focus for a few minutes, and is excited about music, that’s a great sign! I’m happy to help assess if your child is ready to start.

Parent Involvement

With the Suzuki Method, parents are considered the “home teacher” for their child. This partnership builds a beautiful bond between parent and child, making music a shared, positive, and joyful experience in the home. As such, a parent or guardian must attend every lesson and actively participate by taking notes to support daily practice at home.

Your involvement is a vital part of the Suzuki approach—no musical background is needed, just a willingness to be engaged in your child’s learning process. I will be teaching you right alongside your child and helping you feel confident in supporting them.

Lesson Duration

Beginners take 30 minute lessons. As skills progress, a 45 minute lesson will be encouraged, usually around Suzuki Book 3 or 4.

Location

Lessons are held in my home studio located in Pea Ridge, AR.
